Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy explains how M4W Group Limited uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies on www.xborderleadership.com. It should be read with the Privacy Notice.
1 What cookies are
Cookies are small files placed on or accessed from a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and software development kits. They can support security and core functions, remember preferences, measure use or enable third-party content.
2 Our consent approach
Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent where permitted because they are required to provide a service requested by the user or protect the website. Analytics, advertising and other non-essential technologies will remain disabled until the user provides valid consent where consent is required. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent access to core website information.
3 Categories
| Category | Purpose | Current use |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, form integrity, essential session functions and remembering your cookie choices. | Browser storage that remembers your cookie choice, kept for 12 months. Any other uses will be confirmed by a scan of the live website. |
| Preferences | Remember optional display or language choices. | None used. |
| Analytics | Measure visits and understand website performance. | Active with consent. Google Analytics 4 measures visits and pages viewed only after you accept analytics cookies. |
| Embedded media and social | Enable third-party video, maps or social features. | None used. |
| Advertising | Personalisation, retargeting or campaign measurement. | None used. |
4 Cookie inventory
The technologies below are the ones we have identified. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept analytics cookies and are removed if you withdraw that consent. This inventory will be confirmed by a scan of the live website after launch and updated if any further technologies are identified.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| xborder_cookie_consent (browser local storage) | This website | Remembers your cookie choices so you are not asked on every visit. | 12 months, after which you are asked again. |
| _ga (cookie) | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors so we can count visits and pages viewed. Set only after analytics consent. | 2 years. |
| _ga_* (cookie) | Google Analytics | Maintains analytics session state. Set only after analytics consent. | 2 years. |
Fonts are served from the website itself; no third-party font service is used.
5 Managing choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all optional technologies, reject non-essential technologies or customise your choices. Optional technologies remain off until you accept them, and rejecting them will not prevent access to core website information.
You can review, change or withdraw your choices at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. Withdrawing analytics consent stops further analytics collection and removes the Google Analytics cookies. You can also view, block or delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking browser storage will not prevent access to the website.
6 Third parties and changes
Third-party services may process data under their own notices. We will not load non-essential third-party embeds before the required consent. We may update this policy when technologies or legal requirements change. Contact privacy@xborderleadership.com with questions.
